PSA of a player on BGA using 2 multiple accounts simultaneously on 3-4 player tables to cheat and win. The secondary accounts are all “friends” of Hank1022 so that he/she can open a 3-player table with one of these accounts and then just wait for a regular non-cheating player to join as “3rd ” player. The secondary accounts ONLY become active with Hank1022. They all play with Hank1022. There maybe countless more as Hank1022 has 37 “friends” but I’ve tracked these above 4 as the most used.
Most Splendor players at 500+ ELO rating do not play to win with nobles. Not for every single game. But that’s what Hank1022 has been doing over his/her 3000+ games. He/she uses the secondary account to grab cards and chips that the 3rd player needs to handicap them, while Hank1022 slowly racks up tier 1 and 2 cards to chase for noble win. This is his/her one and only strategy.
BGA players can go to Hank1022’s profile and see his/her replays to see the same tactics as I’ve described.
I’ve reported this player multiple times to BGA but the staff there clearly don’t seem to care…not at least from report from 1 player. All of these accounts are still up and Hank1022 is still at it.
This issue would not have bothered me so much had it not been for Hank’ 500+ rating. While most players are using one account to play at a time and are busting their behinds to win to go up the ELO ladder, this cheater is just ruining the spirit of the games with their scheme.
Recommend to all BGA players to block Hank1022 and report his/her to BGA in hopes that maybe BGA will take action on this.
