Hi all,

I come back on this old thread, but I have just bought and tried Troyes ... (3 or 4 plays until now, but I really enjoyed it :))

I wondered the same thing on the game length (mainly for 2 and 3 players because 4 player game is long enough to my mind). It looks interesting to me to add 2 turns for 2 players or 1 turn for 3 players. Also, this way everybody systematically starts the same number of rounds.

I think I will try it once with more turns, and my main concern was rather that I wondered if some of the objectives (characters) should not be adapted: I am thinking about "the coin objective" and the "cubes in the cathedral", and perhaps also the "event card obtained". Typically with one or two more turns it looks way easier to get 18 coins and I would tend to add 2 or 3 coins per turn to reach the full 6 points.
The idea is to avoid that the coin objective become way easier than some others

Thus I would like to ask to more experienced players if they finally tried more games with more rounds? How was it?
And if indeed it looks necessary to adapt slightly some of the characters?

BR
