6 nimmt!/Category 5/Slide 5/Sei might be one of the most-known Euro card games. It's had many versions with many different themes and varied art work. I own three versions of the game and two different spin-off games. It's a simple, chose a card, play it, and hope the odds you were gambling against pay off for you. It is light and chaotic, but some people seem to be better at it than the rest of the unwashed masses so it isn't completely random.
Maybe I will also bring along Tanz der Hornochsen! and try for a two-for-one Game of the Week! It's another one I haven't played in a long, long time.
This is the less-successful board game. I still really enjoy playing it, but the box is kinda big and a pain to carry around, which is why this doesn't get played as much.
Last Week
When Saturday game time came around, I was not really in the mood to play Chinatown, but I was going to try if time seemed right.
It never did.
This game really needs people who are into the negotiation to play, and I wasn't sure everyone who was there would have been into it.
We did play Tinner's Trail, which could have been one of the games I chose for the GotW if I owned it. It's a terrific game and I am glad I got to play it. It kind of makes up for not playing Chinatown.
Games played last week
• Dreadball
• Heckmeck am Bratwurmeck
• Kingdom of Solomon
• Quarriors w/Quarmageddon & Rise of the Demons
• Tinners' Trail
• Würfel Bohnanza
