Thread: Robinson Crusoe: Adventure on the Cursed Island:: Rules:: Some rules questions after first play

Tonight we finished a 3player game (1st scenario) that we started yesterday. A couple of questions:

Minus one pawn effect and multiple actions
Situation:
There's a 'minus one pawn' effect token on the Building Action field. One player chooses a Build action, and has to place both his pawns on his project (e.g. roof, palisade or an item). Another player also wants to take a Build action.
Questions:
- We assumed the second action also required a minimum of two pawns. Correct?
- In the resolution phase, after the first Build action is completed, the 'minus one pawn' token is discarded (per the rules). Now, for the second action, does that player need to roll the Action dice? We wondered since there are two pawns there and the 'minus one pawn' token is now gone.

Thunderstorm & Resolve effect of this Event again
Situation:
We drew the Event 'Thunderstorm'. Consequently, the wood source nearest to the camp was exhausted. As we did not have a Shovel, we could not take the Threat action to uncover ('unexhaust') the wood source and discard the card. So another turn later the card is automatically dicarded, thereby triggering it's Threat effect. The effect was 'resolve effect of this Event again'.
Questions:
- 'Nearest to the camp'; can this also mean the wood source on the same tile as the camp?
- The event also says 'If there's no 'wood' each player gets 'loose 1 health'. What does this mean? Is it a misprint, and should it read 'if there's no 'wood source'? The only situation when there would be no wood source on the island is when the wood source on the starting tile is somehow exhausted, and no other wood source is yet discovered (or other sources are also exhausted).
- What is the use of this Threat effect (resolve again)? Because since the wood source was still exhausted, we did not know what to do when the effect had to trigger. The only effect we could think of is if there had been no wood source, then all players would have lost another health point.
- After the Threat effect has resolved the wood source stays exhausted for the rest of the game, correct?

Cardbacks in the Event deck give away info
Situation: After a couple of actions, some cards from the Adventure decks have been shuffled into the Event deck. Since the cardbacks of the three Adventure decks are all different, and also differ from the regular Events, you can know a round before it happens that an Adventure card is coming. Say for instance you only shuffled in one Exploration Adventure card, you even know exactly which card is on top of the deck.
Questions:
- You already know which cards will eventually return of course (since you read them before you shuffle them in), but is knowing which card is on top of the Event deck a problem? Knowledge about the upcoming Event will surely influence decision making in the prior round. Is this an intended mechanism?

Thanks for taking the time to read this. Hopefully the answers are pretty straightforward and we were just being too difficult about it!
