It creates at least a bit of a bind and can give a big point advantage to your opponant. This is particularly true if they fill every expansion space which is much more possible than one might think.
Agreed. Having to build a stall and upgrading to stables require alot of resources and placements, not to mention the feeding troughs. Sure it provides 4 points per stable, but then again it only acts to cancel out the benefit of the expansion tiles or if you're lucky gain 4 more points, at the cost of resources and unused fences. I opt to always get 1 expansion tile at least.
