Hi!I've been playing Carcassonne for a while.
I find the playing process rather constraining, it provides little "room for maneuver" to players.
You can only place meeples. A very frequent situation is that you spend all your meeples to objects that won't ever be finished and become bound hand and foot for the rest of the game.
So i've been thinking how to modify the rules for the game to be more versatile. I came up with a home rule allowing players a choice for one of two actions:
* placing a meeple as usual;
* removing one of your meeples from play and returning it to your hand.
I haven't tried this variant yet because it's not easy to persuade my friends.
So i need arguments. What do you think?
PS If the game becomes disbalanced, removing meeples can be allowed only to players that have no meeples in hand.
