I've designed a print-and-play game based on the 2012 election. While the concept is similar to Campaign Manager 2008--winning the election--the mechanics and focus is much different. But with the playtests I've run so far fans of this game tend to enjoy it.
[In a nutshell: it's a two player game (Obama vs Romney). The game starts off with around 17 swing states they fight over, but they can "unlock" additional states if they desire. Each turn both players create a campaign "Agenda" from a common stock, mostly consisting of demographics, issues, and "strategy cards" which represent real-life events ("Women Full of Binders," "47%," "Solyndra," etc.). There are also events that players try to spin their way.]
I released this into playtest about two months ago, and about every two or three weeks I update it with the latest current events. I plan on updating it one last time after the election; I just released a post-debates update earlier this week.
