Each player drafts (up to) 18 cards per game. Each player takes a lot more actions. See also: Castles of Burgundy.
Thumbs for this. I was just getting nervous reading through the rulebook and I had to leave before I could finish it. I have a serious aversion to games with a fixed number of turns, especially if it's a lower number (sub 20). Coincidentally, CoB is one of the few games that gets a pass for me, since you make 25+ moves per game. Fortuitous that this is the game you used as a reference. Gives me hope.
I just played Helios and was really disappointed in the low number of turns (16-18) per game and had started to read the rulebook for FC and got even more bummed. I was just thinking, I probably need to start reading rulebooks instead of reviews, since most videos don't mention this type of thing, and I'm in the minority with being fussed over games that employ it.
