This game is one of the rare games where I would actually encourage you to buy both at the same time. The additional characters are a BIG improvement. The smaller pawns are, ironically, a BIG improvement. The extra special event cards provide some variety. The petri dishes are just cool. I'd mix those things in right away. You can still play for a long time without experimenting with the Virulent Strain or Mutation expansion material.↧
