We scored 805 points, 4 player, in 14 games (losses in October and December). Only reason why we didn't score 885 was because we didn't realize there was a benefit to bombing all the military bases. We never did the "Military Base on every continent" thing, preferring to eradicate diseases and sticking with our core CDC team. Our starting team was the Researcher, Scientist, Dispatcher and Medic. We dropped the Medic after the first four or so games, once we had positively mutated the three diseases to the point where we just didn't need him. From that point on our fourth player played a switch-hitter (usually the Soldier) while our core team of three remained.
Our traitor was the Colonel, we never used him.
We found the Soldier extremely useful for Searches, since he can take cards out of the trash when they have equipment on them. This ability, coupled with Binoculars, made most of the searches pretty easy. We found it was beneficial to leave some of the upgrades off the cards until we could force them into our hands by creating them in-game. Still not sure if a double-binocular search is legit.
City Zero for us was Karachi.
In the last game, with no need to cure diseases, we switched out the Researcher and Scientist for the Soldier and Generalist, and rounded out our group with the Dispatcher and Immunologist (for vaccinating).
We used the Researcher/Scientist Co-Worker relationship (like everyone else, I'm sure) and found that the Dispatcher with his Pilot and Forecaster upgrades was very powerful.
We completely missed the permanent Roadblock upgrade, and we ended up misinterpretting an instruction to open Box 8 instead, even though we had not lost enough games to justify it. We didn't count that penalty above.
