I really can't stress enough how important this is.
In particular when it comes to characters like the Doctor.
I've had games where people were reducing or increasing panic in my favor without having a clue they are going into a trap.
Then, next loop, they think that panic can be managed by the doctor and get screwed.
Also, note that the doctor in particular can be used by the mastermind if he has good will refusal. You want them to think he's safe to charge up for your usage :)
