Justin, thank you for taking the dog piling with relative grace! But one of the many subtleties is if you are going last, you need only keep pace. If you are first in the round, you need to make a big strike (3 elephants, for example) and drop out after round one. Sometimes you will play cards that let people drop out with an item, leaving you with the token you want, even though you could have risked fighting tooth and nail. These are just a couple things you learn after a few games. And yeah, the game kinda sucks with three players because the auctions aren't competitive enough.↧
