I bought this game b/c I'm always looking for something for me and my non-gamer wife to play. She loves the TV show so I thought it might keep her interest. I just played it solo to get the feel of it and I find the "move" phase vague. It says you can move 1, 2, or 3 on your turn. What determines if you go 1, 2, or 3? Do I decide?
Also, I'm really not too sure I like this game so far. I played it solo four times just to get the gist of the game. Yes, it can be tough (I died the first three times through it) but it was all rolling dice; not a lot of strategy. If you get good rolls, you win. If not, you lose. Is this observation fair? Is that all there is to look forward to when I invite some friends to play? If so, give me a recommendation for non-gamers who enjoy gateway games like carcassone, ticket to ride, and dominion...
