Hello!I've read about this game and it seems like it is just perfect for me so I am thinking about purchasing it. Now there are three different versions and I have no idea for which I should go... Any suggestions?
The oldest version seems to have less content than the newer ones but I do like the black and white simplistic card illustrations.
The Erlkönig version is German, so it should be easier for me (I do speak English, but it is probably more comfortable if you are able to play a very text intense game in your mothers tongue). I have also heard that the content here is extended. The world map looks great as well, as do the backsides of the cards but... those card illustrations ... in my opinion those are the shabbiest i have ever seen in a game.
The Z-Man version looks good overall, I prefer the more oldschoolish look of thefirst edition cards, but those are ok as well. As for the world map, I think the Erlkönig version is better, but this one is still fine. But now there are two minor problems left, the first one being the English texts, the second one being the fact that they did not include all the Game variants of the previous editions..
So, any suggestions what I should go for? It is really hard to decide... Any things I did not include in my consideration?
