If the Giants take the +1 shipping bonus tile or get a Priest and upgrade shipping then there are two places on the board where they can ship from a wilderness hex to another wilderness hex where they can build a dwelling without having to terraform first.Combine that with an early Stringhold and you can get off to a good start quite cheaply with Giants.
