Players shouldn’t get any analysis paralysis. I mean there is only one decision each turn. Do I put a chip on the card or do I take the card? That is it. So even the most AP prone people don’t have a problem with this game, which after all, is another reason it is a solid filler.

People always say that this-or-that game is safe from AP but in the case of No Thanks, we’ve seen some very deep thinking. But in this game it almost becomes funny to see them overthink the decision.

It’s a great game to talk over. There isn’t a lot going on in this game. If you are like me and want to do something while you talk, then you can’t go wrong with No Thanks. It makes for a great after dinner game with some non-gaming friends, just sitting around, drinking some coffee, and shooting the breeze while tossing chips on the cards.

Oh, man, I’d love to find a game that works while talking about other things! I hadn’t thought about No Thanks could be such a game… maybe it can!

Then again with my gaming friends all we talk about are games.
And my non-gaming friends they do not like games.

No Thanks provides you with a good game that only takes 10-15 minutes to play while waiting on that mammoth game on the next table to finish up.

Haha, yes, yesterday we had just started a game of Power Grid and the game store owner comes in, says hey we’re closing in 15 minutes. So we pack up PG and play a game of No Thanks. He comes back after we’ve finished the game—but still cards are out, chips are out, and he goes like: I said we were closing and you start a new game!!?!??! But he calmed down after finding out that we were already done.

Very good review, thanks!
