I commented like 5 times in that thread about how it looks like there's no real plan for a US release. I finally relented, when the publisher said

As Filosofia and Z-man decided not to publish a second edition of Luna, I decided to publish a bilingual edition which will be distributed by Pegasus world-wide. Hope that makes it clearer ...

But it looks like I was right after all. See this comment, from the publisher:

The second edition (bilingual version from Pegasus) is out since End of October. It's only a question of when the US-Shops order it ...

The game exists, but no one is ordering any for US distribution.
