I've played about 200 games of Neuroshima Hex! Android (all vs. a computer) and realize I've never been in a situation where the Outpost's Recon Center (the module that lets you move 2 instead of 1) was in anyway useful or helpful. In fact, I have yet to encounter a game where I was thinking "If only I had the recon center here".In order for the Recon Center to pay, you must make 2 actions (one to play the tile, and one to play a Move tile). Outpost already has 7 Move tiles, enough for most situations and only has 2 units which have Mobility. Furthermore, I am rarely in a situation where I need to move anything more than 1 tile. Often it is better and easier to just place a new unit than move an existing one. For Recon Center to be useful, the timing must be exactly perfect (must be placed before drawing a Move tile), placement ideal (it is easily knocked out before used) and uses highly contrived.
Am I missing something?
If Recon Center offered a "free" move action or even if it had a Toughness ability, I could see it working. Don't get me wrong, Outpost by itself is good and balanced, but the Recon Center seems like dead weight.
