The other changes from base game to advanced are:- there's one building of each type always available to buy at a cost of 8 (usual max cost is 5)
- when you buy one of those you also get to take one of the city upgrade tiles, which turn (for example) a x3VP city into a x4VP and x1 coin city
- there's an additional scoring option. As well as scoring cities and building types you can also score all your buildings with a brown background or all your buildings with a green background
As Rich says, it goes from being fairly elegant but a bit bland to fairly clunky and quite brain-burning. I didn't buy it but would certainly play again.
