I agree. Although, I'm not sure any of the factions actually need to be 'nerfed.' Rather, I think if we dealt with the inadequacies of the fakirs, auren, and giants we would see these factions playable in a wider variety of games. This would have knock-on effects for the broader meta-game. The most obvious of which would be to weaken the engineers as there would be more people playing red and green.Also, the official shapeshifters change was absurd. They had good data establishing what a balanced shapeshifters would look like, and then they chose to nerf them into being the worst faction by far.
