Yeah, that scenario, while I think originally being fan made, came from Portal (after going through their playtesting process, etc), and I'm guessing didn't go through the editorial process it should have. I don't recall seeing it that bad in the Crusoe rulebook, or the First Martians rulebook, but when you look at the flavor text in the adventures/scenarios in First Martians, which seemed to have bypassed that same editorial process, you see the same thing.

It's unfortunate, I agree, as it could be so easily remedied. Hell, I'd voluntarily give all their stuff a once over just as a fan (which I offered for First Martian events, never heard anything).

Fortunately, the best stories in the games come out of the gameplay, not the flavor text. Still, it is disappointing.

As your example shows though, it just looks like something that was plugged into Google Translate.
