When I go up on research, I get 3 steps round 1 and 1 step round 2. This nets me on average 3 Science from the 3 steps I got round 1 and 9 science from the top of the track for 12 total additional science or 3 extra steps, or 2 if you don't count the last step in science. I find this to be enough of a reason to go for a heavy science play as you get 12 points from the research track plus 3 steps on other tracks with usually produces 12 or more additional points.↧
