Yes, and depending on which character you create first in February, the second one could have a relationship with the first.

So if you create Quarantine Specialist first, they can pick from Medic/Researcher/Generalist. Then you create Scientist next, and they can pick from Medic/Researcher/Generalist/Quarantine Specialist.
