agreedI think out group Looks at the bones of a game.
What's the core of the game and what is needed to accomplish it? The bare bones of this one is one player selects a card used to communicate clues...culminating in one last guess
Everything else in the game is artificial mechanics and components used to stretch out the game. From section dividers, card sleeves even the ghost screen to markers for the ghost to slide against the screen marking who has been given clues. It's pretty and we love bling. but for a clue communication game its not even in the running with player interaction, tension and teambuilding of Code Names.
Interpreting the rules was a nightmare. That may have jaded our perception and enjoyment.
