I don't think that comparing scores makes a lot of sense - and less so if the opponent is the Automa.

As I see it, four factors influence your score:
1) game setup (round scorings, round boosters, final scorings, tech tile distribution) - scores will be significantly higher if there's a nice flow of round scorings (e.g. mine-TS-RL-AC/PI rather than the other way round), if the final scorings correlate, if there are useful tech tiles on the research tracks which are relevant for you anyway, if the round boosters have scorings that match your strategy

2) the factions in the game - both your faction and that of the opponent(s) influence your likelihood of generating VPs in the given game setup

3) your skill - probably the most important factor, and it also impacts factor 2) above assuming you pick a faction based on the setup; also a great player will tweak out a lot of extra points from a given setup (as per 1)) than a mediocre player

4) the skill of your opponent(s) - which also affects 2)

And if the opponent in 4) is the Automa, this skill is largely random:
* Does it take the power/QIC action you need or something you don't care about?
* Does it build its mine/upgrade a structure near you and offer you leech early in the round when you need it, or (too) late, or even far away from you?
* Does it race up the very research track that's an important part of your strategy and takes away the advanced tech tile/level 5, or does it focus on research tracks you planned to ignore anyway?
* Does it take the round booster you desired, or one you don't care about? Does it pass early and return the round booster you want to take next, or does it play until the last card, forcing you to pass before?
* Does it colonize a planet you desired too, or one which wasn't on your list, yet offers you neighborhood for cheap TS?
* ...

With a suitable setup, and the Automa mostly doing things which please you, you (assuming you're a competent player) should get well over 200VP. With unlucky (for you) draws by the Automa, you'll have a hard time to even beat it.
