1. In the english rulebook (p. 9) it is mentioned that Gathering and Exploration can be carried out on island tiles adjacent to the camp or one tile away (at the cost of an additional pawn). However, the German rules allow Gathering ONLY on adjacent tiles, and offer the increased radius ONLY for the Exploration action.
Which is right? I would guess the English version?
The english one - iirc the german rules are written in a way that with a little fantasy you could interpret them the same way.
2. Friday's determination tokens: Both, the German and the English card talk about 2 tokens to be used for one reroll.
However, the German rulebook says reroll one die per determination token, whereas the English rulebook just mentions to "use them [any determination tokens] to reroll any die once.
My interpretation would be the card is right? What do you say?
yes, the card is right.
3. In order to use the "Reroll" Determination Skills (and in case of the carpenter the "Economical construction") does a pawn of the respective character have to take the respective action? Or is it enough if he supports the action, or can these skills also influence actions taken by other characters?
The skill description only mentions that you can use them any time, but not whether it has to be during your own (or supported) actions or not.

I'm not 100% sure but with 98% I would say you have to do the action yourself, aiding is not enough.
4. When you reveal a Mystery icon on an Island tile: Do you resolve the Events/Locations/Effects etc. on the scenario card in ascending order (e.g. from 1-4) or do you shuffle the green markers 1-4 face down and draw one off them randomly each time you reveal a Mystery icon? (I.e. you could e.g. find the Balloon wreck before the Cemetary in Scenario 3).
You resolve them in order.
