I taught my 16 year-old nephew this game last night and we started with Scenario 1. He had Salemites and I had Frank/Vasquez.It looked bleak early on for me as I busted through the far room first and Vasquez wasn't there. By then I was getting attacked by a Zombie from behind me, but since they only get a few CPs and you have to activate all cards before reactivating, I had time to get away. Then my nephew made it look like Vasquez was in the room closest too the bathroom, with the way he was positioning his figures. So I ended up bolting out the door and running around to the outside of that room and broke through the wall only to find another decoy. That left his figures out of position and give me time because I surprised him by going around the outside.
I then moved to the outside of the middle room and broke that wall, but not until Jack Saw broke in and hit Vasquez hard so that she only had 2 life left on her wounded side of her card. Fortunately I had been saving an order tile with 4 move action on it. So on the next turn I took advantage of initiative and moved Vasquez out of there. She was out of reach of any Salemite for the whole turn, so at the start of the next turn, I used initiative again to my advantage and issued a 3 move order to Vasquez to get her off the board.
Frank had 4 wounds, while Deeler only had 1 life left and the Zombies had a few wounds on them.
Very fun. My nephew said it felt like a video game. :D
