You guys are making this concept seem much more complicated than it really is. The intent of the rules is simple: you are normally only allowed to transform a single terrain hex. The only exception occurs if you have additional 'free' spades left over after transforming a hex to your home terrain, in which case you may apply those spades elsewhere.↧
