I haven't played so many games so far, but you are probably right. Still it is possible to score highly, I already scored 19 (plus some cash leftover) in one of the test games.

By "high" I mean in the high 19's or low 20s. On Yucata so far, I am scoring in the low 19's or right close to it, except for one notable blunderous game :gulp:

Btw, it will probably not work to include this helper on Yucata. Stopping a turn after a helper has been played to just let the player with the foreman decide if he wants the helper is out of the question. The only way would probably be if someone has the foreman to disable his possibility to view other players cards and last moves until it is his turn again, and then show him in succession the cards he would have been able to take (without letting him know how many he would have to choose from). This could be very annoying.

The post-turn review also wouldn't work because if the Foreman player chooses to take a card that was used, this would change the options for the other player because he would now have the Foreman available to possibly recover another one of his cards and use it again.

Personally, while I like the fact that you can resolve your turn without interruption (and even reset it to try something different) I don't think it's any more annoying than what you go through during the card phase.
