in the rules, page 6, is stated that you may not construct on a building piece twice on the same site. therefore I may not place a roof on a floor I already placed a floor on the same turn. Can I place 2 floors on the same site on the same turn ,but not a roof?↧

One thing caught my eye right away.“.... so that a “6” may represent a +1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6." Seems incorrect, not sure why I put the + in front of that 1. A +1 is only represented by a +1, not a 1.
I’ll need some time if I still need to plumb the depths for you. All the games are packed away at the moment or are 1500 miles from where I am right now.
Let me know if this addressed any of your problem.

Alan

I tried this last month. The cards that you need to trade do not have town names on them. I made it where you can trade at the bus stations or at the gates and once per turn. Just being able to trade in that color kind of made it too easy. It did make the game more enjoyable playing the Fall of Rome way.
They do have town names (Arkham etc these are towns) they don't have location names. So yes, contrary to Rome you don't need to be on a specific place just in the specific town (so coloured space). From my testing this results in a difficulty similar to multiplayer rules, and the point is to keep it as close to a normal game as possible. Still, playing on a higher difficulty might be a good idea.
Yes sorry i ment to say locations names ... was getting my games mixed up.
I just found that it was too easy if it was just in that town so I added the gate or bus station.

Reply: Pandemic Legacy: Season 2:: General:: Re: Thematic question about December [SPOILERS]
by Chuggas
I've only recently finished the campaign and am now going through the forums without worrying about spoilers anymore. And I agree 100% with Melchoir. From what I understood about the story, every November whoever is running Utopia expels a large chunk of its male citizens to keep the population of Utopia down. These men are not allowed back into Utopia (where their families still remain) unless they go out into the world and spread the plague. There's some searches that show the Hollow Men humanely, like the one of the guy staring at a picture of his family and crying. I always saw the leadership of Utopia as distinct from the Hollow Men and Utopia's citizens.
But December just throws everything for a loop.
Suddenly Utopia is getting invaded by Hollow Men, even though:
a) They were expelled from the city, so shouldn't they be unable to get back into it?
b) Their family's live there, so why on Earth would they want to spread plague there?
I think Lord Nathaniel's take on this is sound, but even with this explanation it doesn't make sense for Utopia's population to be reduced by the Hollow Men.
It's been a year since this thread was created, has anyone been able to figure out a thematic reason for what is going on?

In this case the card allows you to draw dice from the bag in order to add to your roll for curing. Afterwards, you place the dice in the treatment center, do not contaminate the regions with these dice.
The power of the card is to increase the result of the roll of the cure by 1, 2 or 3 (depending on the number of dice you choose to draw), and have a successful roll for the cure, and at the same time put dice in the treatment center, which is a good thing.

This is a pretty good write up, definitely makes the 5th column market look good and i like those shape options for masonry/lumber camp.Your ice house build is impossible, at no point do you use a v to actually build the shed. You also get 10 income from barn not 8 if you finish it turn 3.
The hermits hut has a really powerful opening with 1v get wood 1 v build shed, 3v flex food/hunting options 1v market 5, save 2 herbs for upgrading to pigs on turn 2
I am not convinced about the armory opening you wrote up. It seems worse than just opening with no shed, last action antlers or crafted scythe and use antlers on the ore.
I like the whaling hut as an option when you either want to transition out of a whaling strategy either due to player competition or just running out of spears
The animal ones are more efficient if you take an animal profucing island, you can take the 2x animal spot on turn 4 when you have a single animal, take your barn or cowshed animal and an animal to form a breeding pair. Or just take the one animal space, either way

Hi guys! When you are eligible to pick up a tech tile, do you pick up the one that is on the top or you can choose from the pile (knowing the piles you're allowed to choose from). So basically, it's like in Terra Mystica? Thanks!

Once locations are randomized, each stack is all copies of a single tile.↧
